2019 RMEL Emerging Leader Award Nomination Form
RMEL is currently seeking nominations for the Emerging Leader Award. The deadline for submissions is February 28, 2019.
Emerging Leader Award: The Emerging Leader Award recognizes and honors those RMEL members who are up and coming in their company and will be the future of our industry. Nominees must have between 5-10 years of experience in the industry, establishing significant contributions within their organization and have demonstrated the potential for leadership and continuing service in the electric utility industry. The person must be active in the field at the time of the award.
Your Nomination is Important!
In today’s uncertain political and regulatory environment, it is certain that a younger generation with a fresh perspective will use the knowledge that utilities have collected over the past century to discover solutions to existing and new industry challenges. Whether the industry stays relatively the same in 20 years or makes massive shifts to distributed generation, people will continue to achieve excellence even in extenuating and seemingly impossible circumstances. Empower your employees, and let them know that what they are doing matters!
Requirements for Eligibility:
· Candidate has BETWEEN 5 – 10 years in the electric energy industry.
· Candidate has established significant contributions to their current organization
· Candidate has potential for leadership or is excelling in a leadership within your organization and continuing service in the electric industry.
